Ways to promote your business at WBWI events
Promotional Materials:
You may distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, special deals & business cards at all WBWI events.
15 Second Intros:
Attendees will be given the opportunity to stand up and introduce them selves and their business to the group. This is basically your elevator statement. A short and sweet overview of who you are, what your business is and what you do. It is always wise to start and finish with your name and business name.
ie. Hi, I'm {Name} from {Business Name},.......{what the business offers/what you love about it/for regular attendees, you may want to tell us about an offer...you get the drift}......, {Your name} from {Business Name}.
Remember the key is short and sweet you only have 15secs.
Raffles:
What a great opportunity to capture some of the limelight at our networking events.
Simply donate a raffle prize by contacting the WBWI Management Committee
All proceeds of the raffle go towards the running costs of WBWI so we can continue to grow by delivering more and more of what our members want while keeping our pricing as low as possible.
Answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:
- The value of the prize is completely up to you. Be creative in what you give so as to leave a lasting impression.
- Think of something catchy to say about your business or why you are donating the gift when you are given the opportunity to present your raffle prize on the day. Its a great way to boost your business profile.
- Remember to exchange business cards with the gift recipient so they remember where their prize is from and you keep their details for your records.
- All prizes must be given with no strings attached... ie. no 1/2 price vouchers where the recipient has to contribute money to redeem the prize. Please give whole heartedly. As the saying goes, give and you shall receive. If you give with no-obligation or do a good deed for someone, eventually you will be repaid in kind.
