About Westside Business Women Inc.
Westside Business Women Inc. (WBWI) began as an incorporated association in the Greater Springfield area in Dec 2008. It was formed when some progressive business women saw the need to create a body that supported and inspired women in business to succeed. It is run entirely by volunteers that are dedicated to the organisation and its growth into the future.
WBWI is well suited to women who live and /or work in and around Greater Springfield - the fastest growing corridor in SE Qld which acts as a central hub joining Brisbane and Logan to the Ipswich area. The organisaton provides the opportunity to meet other business owners in the local area and gain valuable business insight on how to improve and grow their business. Though predominently a women's network, men are more than welcome to attend events and join as a member.
WBWI aims to provide access to a network of business and personal contacts, inspirational and informative guest speakers, innovative workshops on a range of personal and professional development topics as well as act as a support network for its members.
WBWI hosts its monthly breakfast networking event at Spring Lake Hotel which includes a light breakfast, guest speaker, and the opportunity to meet and interact with like-minded business women. WBWI events are an excellent way of meeting new people, sharing knowledge, making friends and having fun. By attending regular events it provides the opportunity to keep in touch with the latest business and management trends.
WBWI fund raising activities are conducted from time to time as well as participating in local events as an organisation, offering the opportunity for members to join together in promoting their businesses.
